Puntagorda is not conceived without their almond trees. The affection to this fruit personifies a form of being; the parties, their gastronomy and their landscape reflect it. Puntagorda lives besides the cultivation of vegetables, bananas, avocados and ornamental flowers. The downtown offers attractive corners, mainly during the blossom of the almond trees, could contemplate this lanscaping wealth from the great number of existent miradors. They are places of interest the parochial temple, their streets and the splendid specimen of pine well-known canary like Pine of The Virgin. The coast of Puntagorda is considered as a natural protected space. Is formed by a wide coastal fringe, with a half height between the 200 and 250 meters. ACTIVITIES

FIESTA DEL ALMENDRO

In Puntagorda, it is taken advantage of its denominated Party of the almond tree in Flower for give every year a homage of gratitude to the nature, always generous with the Island.
